OUTCOMES & IMPACT

From sacred pause to measurable change.

We believe real transformation begins with reflection — but it doesn’t end there. Through stories, service, and shared action, we aim to understand how the Freedom Fast changes people, communities, and the nation.

Our outcomes aren’t just statistics. They’re signals of belonging, empathy, and civic hope.

What freedom asks of us now may not be easy. But it begins by listening.

How We Measure Impact

We’ll collect and synthesize outcomes through:

  • Participant surveys

  • Story uploads

  • Group conversation data

  • Service pledge fulfillment

  • Visual and narrative analysis using the Dialogue Reflection System™

Individual Outcomes

  • Empathy Shift
Participants will answer a brief “before and after” reflection (e.g., “Before the Fast, I felt ___ about ___... Now I feel ___.”)

  • Belonging & Hope
Prompts like: “During the Fast, I felt part of something bigger than myself.” or “I feel more hopeful about our country’s future.”

  • Personal Promise
A digital or physical “note to self” or action card written during the Fast.

  • Ripple Effect
We’ll ask: “Did you share your experience with someone you love within the week?”

Community Outcomes

  • Community Covenant
Each participating group writes a shared commitment or action plan.

  • Local Story Showcase
Photos, audio clips, and reflections posted to a regional map page.

  • Follow-Up Conversations
Some communities commit to ongoing dialogue (e.g., 3 follow-up gatherings over the year).

  • Mini-Grant Projects (optional)
A small fund may be offered to support actions that emerge from Healing Groups.

🇺🇸 National Outcomes

  • The Freedom Fast Story Map
A dynamic, interactive map visualizing gatherings across the country — and what emerged from them.

  • National Report (July 4, 2026)
A beautifully designed summary of themes, stories, visuals, and data — distributed to civic, educational, and faith institutions.

  • Facilitator Network
A growing national registry of certified dialogue leaders who can carry this work forward year after year.
